Resistive piezometer

Electrical piezometers: purpose

Electrical piezometers are designed for measuring pore water pressure and groundwater level in soils, structures, and hydraulic environments.

Piezoresistive technology

Based on high-precision piezoresistive technology, the sensor provides high sensitivity and fast response, making it suitable for both static measurements and dynamic applications involving rapid pressure variations.

Absolute and relative versions

The piezometer is available in both absolute and relative versions. In the relative configuration, an integrated vented tube within the signal cable provides automatic compensation for atmospheric pressure variations, enabling direct measurement of the piezometric head.

Output

Output signals, typically 4–20 mA or mV/V, allow easy integration with data acquisition systems, ensuring reliable transmission over long cable lengths and compatibility with most commercially available data loggers.
