Pressurization kit: purpose
The pressurization kit is the main equipment used to perform flat jack tests. It is a professional solution for the structural diagnostics of masonry buildings, designed for the in-situ determination of stress states and the mechanical properties of materials.
The method
The method is based on the insertion of a flat jack into a cut made in the masonry and its subsequent pressurization using fluid, until the original deformation conditions are restored. The required pressure allows the determination of the stress state within the structure or the deformability characteristics of the material.
Kit composition
