Pressure transducers

Pressure transducers: purpose

Pressure transducers are instruments designed to measure the pressure of liquids or gases and convert it into a proportional electrical signal that can be easily acquired by data loggers, control units, or monitoring systems.

Operating principle

Their operating principle is based on a sensing element, generally a diaphragm, which deforms according to the applied pressure. This deformation is converted into a stable and accurate electrical signal suitable for data control, recording, and analysis.
