Inclinometer casing: purpose

Inclinometer casing is a fundamental component for subsurface displacement monitoring. It is designed to guide manual or fixed inclinometer probes and maintain their orientation along the entire measurement profile.

Features

The casing features four longitudinal grooves arranged at 90°, allowing proper probe alignment during measurements and ensuring the repeatability and accuracy of inclinometer surveys.

Installation

Installed inside boreholes or integrated into structural works, the casing deforms together with the monitored soil or structure, allowing displacement and deformation along the monitored profile to be detected over time.

Materials

Manufactured from high-strength materials such as ABS or aluminium, the casing ensures stability, durability, and corrosion resistance, even in aggressive environments.

Accessories

The assembly is completed with accessories such as coupling sleeves, bottom and top caps, and anchors, ensuring proper installation and protection of the casing during installation and operation.
